Health & Safety

Karijini Civil & Mining Safety Management Plan recognises that the health, safety and welfare of all employees is of paramount importance.

Through training and dedicated leadership we ensure health and safety of all is never compromised. Our operations comply with all statutory requirements and relevant Australian Standards.

It is a mutual objective of both Management and Employees at all levels to actively co-operate and promote awareness of health and safety matters. We constantly provide all personnel with the relevant training needed to perform their duties.

Managers and Supervisors at all levels have a duty of care to:

  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Provide training and instruction to enable employees to perform their work safely and efficiently.

All employees have a duty of care to:

  • Ensure their own health and safety at work and avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of others at work.
  • Comply with Health and Safety instructions.
  • Immediately report any injury, accident or hazardous work condition or workplace.

By promoting positive interaction between all employees, and through safety education, we aim to achieve and maintain a zero harm safety culture.
